Imagean Young

Imagean Young, longtime resident of Benjamin, Texas, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the age of 84. Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 6, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Benjamin, Texas. Burial will take place immediately after the service at Benjamin Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. Visitation will be Sunday evening, July 5, 2015, 6:00 -7:00 p.m., at the funeral home located at 210 Ave A Knox City, Texas.

Imagean was born October 22,1930, to Grover Nunley and Thelma (Conner) Nunely in Marlow Oklahoma. She married Frances Lloyd "Dutch" Young in May of 1946. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Benjamin, Texas. She loved hunting, fishing, square dancing, gardening and flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Thelma (Conner) Nunley ;husband, Frances Lloyd "Dutch" Young; daughter, Brenda Golleager; two brothers, Jack and Joe Nunley; two sisters, Jane Gideon and Darlene Benson; and grandson, Anthony Lamb.

Imagean is survived by her son, Mike Young of Seymour, Texas; daughter, Deeann Lamb of Munday, Texas; sister, Joy Yancey of Wichita Falls, Texas; granddaughter-in-law, Jessica Lamb;
and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
