Ivan Espinal

Ivan Espinal Orduna, 24, of Knox City, Texas passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014 in Knox City. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Santa Rosa Catholic Church in Knox City with Fr. John Perikomalayil officiating. Rosary is planned for Wednesday evening, February 26 at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Knox City located at 210 Avenue A. Arrangements were made under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Ivan was born May 19, 1989 in Maravatio, Michoacan, Mexico to Maria Teresa Orduna Mora and Santiago Luis Espinal Martinez. Ivan has lived most of his life in Knox City. He enjoyed cooking out with his friends, playing play station and will be remembered by his beautiful smile.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Alfredo Espinal; and grandparents, Socorro and Lamberto Orduna.

He is survived by his wife, Mayra of Knox City and 4 young children, Gaby Espinal, Jessy Espinal, Carlos Espinal and Ari Espinal; his mother and father; 3 brothers, Luis Angel Espinal Orduna of Wichita Falls, Texas, Jose Max and Santiago Espinal, both of Knox City; grandmother, Arcadia Martinez of Mexico.
