Jackie Wadkins

Jackie Wadkins, 83, a longtime resident of Throckmorton, Texas, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, Febraury 20, 2021 at the Throckmorton Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned from 12:00-2:00 PM, Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the funeral home, 107 N. Austin, Throckmorton.

Jackie was born July 23, 1937, in Antlers, OK to Nickie Fannie (Corn) and Louis Wadkins. He enjoyed riding and training cutting horses, Spending time with his family, and telling stories. He meant the world to his family and will be truly missed by all.

He is survived by his 3 sons, Curtis Wadkins of Lubbock, Jackie Lee Wadkins, Kenny Ray Wadkins both of Mustang, OK; 3 daughters, Karan Calsing of Guymon, OK, Kelly Gilbert of Electra, Kimberly Chapman; grandchildren, Sara Wadkins, Corbin Wadkins, Stephen "Tate" Wadkins, Colby Wadkins, Tamara Wadkins, Jackie Lee Wadkins II, Brittany Woods, Bailee Logan, David Allen, Dustin, Dannie (Krystle), Heath Wadkins, Jaiden, Blaklee Upton, Paisley Wadkins, David, Sadie Allen, Amanda (Christopher) Trammell, Christopher Lee, Jamie (James) Leonard, Shannon (Donnie) Ramcharan, Shelly Wise, Shawnda (Michael) Smithson, Rusty Gray, Raven Knoll, Lacey (Tyler) Robertson, Dalton Gilbert, Clifton Walker, Zacharia Walker, Tiffanie Walker, Brian Walker, Wendy Casillas; numerous great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Louis "Buck" Wadkins of Throckmorton, Jimmy "Punk" Wadkins of Graham; and sister, Janie Dillard of Nocona.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Nickie Wadkins; two daughters, Sandee Marie Wadkins, Carolyn Wadkins; son, Jimmy Wadkins; and grandson, Jimmy Luther Wadkins.
