James Paul Barnes of Haskell, Texas passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013 in Knox City. Mr. Barnes was 59.
A memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2013 at God Loves You Ministries with Donna Banks and Bro. Mark Wallace officiating.
James Paul was born in Knox City on March 23, 1954 to Claude and Rosa Lea (Clower) Reynolds. He attended Benjamin High School and worked in the oil field. He married Sandra Hawkins on August 17, 1978 in Benjamin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Rosa Lea Reynolds; and 2 brothers, Claude Matthew Reynolds and Walter Thomas Barnes.
James Paul will be missed by his wife, Sandra of Haskell; daughter, Kimberly Reid and husband Erich of Haskell and their children, Nathan and Eathen; 3 sons, James Paul Barnes, Jr., of Haskell and his children, Braxton Jackson, Isiah Barnes, and Kaylee Barnes; Jason Lee Barnes and his wife Sara Hunt of Haskell; and Claude Wade Barnes of Haskell; 2 sisters, Barbara Lee Wardwell and family of Stamford, and Cindy Faye Ashley and family of Abilene;and a brother Wilbur Barnes and Family of Rowlett, Texas. He will also be missed by many friends.
