Janie Juana Flores, 53, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away at her home on Sunday, August 4, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2013 at St. George Catholic Church with Fr. George Romey officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home. A Rosary is planned for Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

One of 9 children, Janie was born January 18, 1960 in Coolidge, Arizona. She was raised in San Saba, Texas, but has lived in Fort Worth the last 35 years. She worked in the receiving unit of an airport imports company.

Janie enjoyed reading and she loved her family and adored her dogs. Janie was a Catholic.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bisente and Frances Flores; a brother, Joe Flores, and sister, Connie Flores.

Janie is survived by her 4 sisters, Lydia, Irma, and Sallie Flores all of North Richland Hills, and Rebeca Lovelace and husband Don of Roanoke, Texas; 2 brothers, Henry Flores and wife Edgwyna of Haskell, Texas, and Emeterio Flores of Fort Worth; 6 nieces, Kira Poteet, Gabriella and Tiffany Estrada, Bre'Ana and Taylor Lovelace, and Isabella Flores; 5 nephews, Travis Poteet, Daniel Flores, Jonathan Estrada, and Zakarey and Lukas Jones; 1 great-niece, Mya Estrada; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Serving as pallbearers for Janie are Jackie Escobedo, J.R. Estrada, Rajelio Estrada, Travis Poteet, Henry Flores, Chavo Calderon, and Daniel Flores.
