Jennifer "Joy" Michelle Butler, longtime resident of Knox City, Texas passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015, at the age of 42. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 11, 2015, at the Foursquare Church in Knox City, Texas, with Rev. Gary Schnable and Rev. Paul Chambers officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, evening May 10, 2015, 6:00 -7:00 p.m., located 210 Ave A., Knox City, Texas, under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Jennifer was born January 18,1973, in Knox City, Texas. She married Terry Butler, November 3, 2001 in Knox City, Texas. Most people knew her as "Joy". She was a member of the Foursquare Church of Knox City. She loved her boys and being a nurse and enjoyed reading.

She is preceded in death by Maternal Grandparents; Howard and Fychelene Sloan of Rochester, Texas, Paternal Grandmother; Bertha Drive of Knox City, Texas, Great-Grandparents; Rev. Floyd and Jewel Bailey of Knox City, Texas.

Jennifer is survived by her husband; Terry Butler of Knox City,Texas, three sons; Zakery York, Brandon York, and Marcell Lewis of Knox City,Texas, Parents; Danny and Sherry Speck of Knox City, Texas, one brother; Shawn Speck and Fiancee Christina of Stamford, Texas, one sister; Julie and Aaron Lewis of Burkburnett, Texas, four nephews; Scott Butler of Germany, Sloan Lewis of Burkburnett,Texas, Elijah San Juan of Stamford, Texas, Caleb San Juan of Stamford, Texas, two nieces; Lainey Lewis of Burkburnett, Texas, Becca Lewis of Burkburnett, Texas, and numerous of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and other Family.
