Jerry Joe Kittley, resident of Rochester, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Knox County Hospital in Knox City, Texas at the age of 58. Memorial Service is at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015, at O'Brien First Baptist Church in O'Brien, Texas. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.
Jerry was born November 3, 1956, to James Wesley Kittley and Jo Ann (Hodges) Searcy in Haskell, Texas. He was a cowboy and a horse shoer. His passion were horses, rodeo and cowboying.
He is preceded in death by his dad, James Wesley Kittley; and four grandparents, Ben and Peggy Kittley, Buster and Clara Hodges.
Jerry is survived by his mother Jo Ann (Hodges) Searcy; one daughter, Jessica Kittley, two sons, Justin Kittley and Joshua Stevens; one brother, Billy Randle Jones; one sister, Karla Jan Reid; several half brothers and sisters; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorials can be given in Jerry's name to First Baptist Church, 904 Grand Central Ave, O'Brien, Texas, 940-658-3553.
