Jim Mcfadden

Funeral services for Jim McFadden, 91, of Haskell, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Assembly of God Church in Haskell with Pastor Clifton McFadden, Rev. Bob Wright, and Pastor Bruce Ray officiating. Burial will be at Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Known to his family as "Pa" and his work family as "Jim 10", Jim McFadden went to be with the Lord on July 8, 2012 in Haskell. Jim was born April 2, 1921 in Rochell, Texas to Samuel Steel McFadden and Mattie Mae (Moore) McFadden. He married Argie Mae Wright on January 18, 1941. They were married 62 years. She preceded him in death on April 4, 2001. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Mattie McFadden; 1 sister; and 4 brothers. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include one daughter, Mattie Rose Upham and husband Jim of Haskell; 2 sons, James McFadden and wife Carol of Haskell; and Marvin McFadden and wife Beckey of Ft. Worth; 15 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 23 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
