Jim K. Williams, resident of Haskell, Texas passed away early Tuesday morning, September 3, 2013 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene. Jim was 87.
Visitation is planned for Friday evening, September 6 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Haskell. Phillip Sims of Church of Christ will lead Jim's favorite hymns and prayer. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Oakland Cemetery in Oakland, Oklahoma. Arrangements were made under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home of Haskell.

Jimmie Keith was born November 20, 1925 in Oakland, Oklahoma to Velma (Cornelison) and Russell L. Williams. The family soon moved to Albany, Texas where Jim grew up. Jim worked in the retail lumber business, banking, and oil well drilling. He married Haskell resident, Gwen Anne Gilliam on February 14, 2004 in Questa, New Mexico and Jim moved to Haskell making this his home with Gwen for the last 10 years. Jim was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Velma Williams; brother, 1st Lt Kenneth T. Williams; his first wife, Wanda Stephens Williams; and his second wife, Betty Lawrence Riley Williams.

Jim is survived by his large loving family, his wife Gwen of Haskell; 1 son, Tony K. Williams and his wife Marilou; 10 daughters, Julia Russell and husband Bill, Linda Medlin, Linda Hise and husband Gary Don, Candy Riley, Ginger Bartee and husband Larry, Jan Riley, Kim Crawford and husband James Robert, Kay Smith and husband Darrell, Kathy Rea and Scott Cass, Kristen Grand and husband Chris; 30 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Dr. Donald Roy Biles and wife Carol of Purcell, Oklahoma.
