Joan Elizabeth Graham

Joan Elizabeth (Scott) Graham was born to Ralphael (Scotty) and Helen (Ball) Scott on March 1, 1937, in Throckmorton, Tx.  She was 84 years of age when she passed on to be with her heavenly father on the morning of December 1, 2021, at her home in Throckmorton, Tx, where she so desired to be.

She is survived by her two daughters, Rebekah Rae Elliott and Leah Kaye Vaughan and her husband John; three grandchildren, Lauren Everett and husband Buck Everett, Shelby Elliott and Seth Vaughan; two great grandchildren, Atley Rush Everett and Dalton Mack Everett; and one aunt, Beverly Ball.

She is preceded in death by her husband Garylan Dennis Graham; her son Matthew Blake Graham; her parents Ralphael and Helen Scott; brother Jon Scott; and beloved grandparents Truman (T. K.) and Eva Ball.

Joan was a wonderful and faithful Christian lady who loved the Lord her savior dearly.  She was a very giving woman, expecting nothing in return.  Her family was the most important thing to her.  She loved gardening and her flowers.  Her grand children and great grandchildren were the joy in her heart.  She loved going to the cabin in Ruidoso. She followed in her mothers footsteps in painting, as did her son.  She was very talented when it came to being crafty. She was an excellent seamstress and made all her children's clothes (and Barbie clothes). She was the best stay at home mom, with much unconditional love, to say the least.

Services will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 2:00PM, at the Smith Family Funeral Homes Chapel in Throckmorton, Tx. Visitation will be Friday, December 3, 2021, 6:00-7:00PM. Burial will be Monday, December 6, 2021, at 1:00PM, at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, in Irving, Tx.
