John Henry Andrada

John Henry Andrada, 56, a longtime resident of Hickory, NC, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017, at his home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the St. George Catholic Church, Haskell with Father Angelo Consemino officiating. Burial will follow services at the Rule Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell. A visitation is planned from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2017, with a rosary to follow at the funeral home, 304 N 2nd St., Haskell, TX.

John was born February 24, 1961, in Haskell, TX, to Tommie Lopez Andrada and Raymond Andrada. He married Janie (Cardoza) Andrada on July 27, 1979, in Rhineland, TX. John was a supervisor with the United Parcel Service.

He is survived by his wife, Janie Cardoza Andrada of Hickory; son, Dallas Andrew Andrada of Hickory; grandson, Dante Levi Andrada of Hickory; mother, Tomasa Lopez Andrada of Haskell; brother, Carlos Andrada and wife Nora of Haskell; two sisters, Terry Rodriquez and husband Felix of Haskell, and Lisa Abila and husband Arthur of Haskell; sister-in-law, Maria Cardoza; brother-in-law, Manuel Cardoza; and mother-in-law, Virginia Cardoza.

He is preceded in death by father, Raymond Andrada; and father-in-law, Manuel Cardoza.
