John Ray Hayley, 61, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Knox County Hospital in Knox City, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014 at The First Baptist Church in Rochester, Texas with Rev. Bishop Helsley and Dr. Troy Culpepper officiating under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.
John was born February 12, 1953, in Seymour, Texas to Sue (Jenkins) and Glenn Hayley. He married Karen (April) Hayley October, 1993 in Deer Park Texas. He was a retired United States Air Force SSGT. John belonged to the First Baptist Church in Rochester.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Kay Hayley.
He is survived by his wife Karen Hayley; brother, Wesley Glenn Hayley; 2 sisters, Mylana Hayley Frontz and Mylinda Hayley McGee; daughter, Donene Kay Hayley; son, Darth John Hayley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
