Johnny Benny Gibson, 78, of Electra, TX passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016 at United Regional Health Care System in Wichita Falls. A graveside service will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the Rule, TX Cemetery, under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell.
Johnny was born on July 23, 1938 in Levelland, to Johnny Edward Gibson and Ada Myrtle (Adkins) Gibson. He married Ronda Jo Ann (Connor) in 1957 in Arizona. He lived in Electra for over 20 years and enjoyed gardening and taking care of his yard.
Johnny is survived by one daughter, Ronda Keith and husband Jerry of Electra; four sons, Johnny Edward Gibson and wife Marie of Ralls, Danny Gibson and wife Rochelle of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Donny Gibson and wife Kim of Archer City, and Tommy Gibson and wife Annie of Wichita Falls; eleven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Johnny Edward Gibson and Ada Myrtle (Adkins) Gibson; wife Ronda Jo Ann (Connor); brother, Edward Gibson; and sister, Pearl Gibson.
