Jon Ball Scott, 71, of Throckmorton, TX went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2017. Born in Texas City, TX to Raphel and Helen Scott on August 28, 1946.
Jon was a lover of the outdoors and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raphel and Helen Scott; grandson, Garrett Damron, and grandson, Jayden Jordan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Julie Scott; daughter, Teresa McCaskill and husband Michael of Byram, Mississippi, daughter, Debra Whitfield of Throckmorton, TX and daughter, Kelli Damron of Graham, TX; sister, Joan Graham of Throckmorton, TX; aunt, Beverly Ball of Abilene, TX; numerous nieces and nephews; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one fur baby, Lucy Lou.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 3, 2017 at the Throckmorton Cemetery, Throckmorton with Rev. Peter Parker Officiating. Burial arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Throckmorton.
