Juanita Hernandez

Juanita Hernandez, 70, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at the St. George Catholic Church, in Haskell with Father Alexander Amburose officiating. Burial will follow services at the Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned for 7:00PM, Monday, August 22, 2022, at the funeral home, 304 N 2nd Street, Haskell, TX.

Juanita was born July 1, 1952 in Floydada, TX to Maria (Castaneda) and Matais Hernandez. She loved putting puzzles together, and cutting pictures out of magazines. She also loved to watch her family play sports.

She is survived by her brother, Arnastacio Hernandez and wife Blanca Hernandez of Haskell; one sister, Katie Hernandez of Sweetwater; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Maria and Matias Hernandez; one brother, Antonio Hernandez; one sister, Josephine Gonzales.
