Judy Ann Richards Riley passed away in Wichita Falls, Texas, on August 19, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Woodson Cemetery with Rev. Peter Parker officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Throckmorton.

Judy was born to Wilburn and Donzie Mae Richards on November 8, 1941, in Grimsley, Tennessee. After visiting her brother who was stationed in Texas, Judy met Reuben Allison Riley. The two were married in San Angelo, on July 16, 1959, and made their home in Throckmorton County.

Judy graduated from LVN school in 1974. After graduation she worked as a nurse at the Throckmorton Nursing Center, Throckmorton Hospital, and as a home health nurse. Judy also enjoyed fishing and playing dominoes with family and friends in her younger years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilburn and Donzie; her infant son, Richard Thomas Riley; her sister Pansy, and brothers, Glen, Kirby, Chester, and Lillard.

She is survived by her husband, RA; her son Reuben Dale and wife Tammie, John and wife Rhonda, all of Throckmorton. Also her grandchildren, Cole and Melanie Riley of Throckmorton, Clay and Charissa Riley of Woodson, Will Riley of Throckmorton, Nathan Riley of Keller, Katelyn Riley of Throckmorton, and six great-grand children. Also her sisters Mallie Rogers and Barbara Cook of Tennessee, sisters in law, Maude Richards and Wilma Ann Richards of Tennessee, and Jene Paul and Pat Coenelius of San Angelo, TX,  and many nieces and nephews.

If so desired, the family suggest memorials be made to Throckmorton High School Ex-Students' Scholarship fund or a charity of your choice.
