Julia Griffith

Julia Griffith, 66, a longtime resident of Crawford, TX, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at Knox City Cemetery, Knox City with Rev. Greg Moore officiating. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2017, at the Top Hand Cowboy Church, 15123 N. Hwy 6, Valley Mills, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Knox City.

Julia was born January 14, 1951, in Eastland to Charlotte (Husband) and Ross Griffith. She was a former resident of Knox City and later resided in Crawford. She loved to travel, doing volunteer work, genealogy, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolynn Moran and Husband Bobby of Crawford; two grandsons, Coby Buchanan of Lubbock and J. D. Moran of Crawford; sister, Virginia McGuire and husband Harold of Waxahachie; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte Griffith; Father, Ross Griffith; and husband Hollis Griffith
