Justin Michael Cox, 25, passed away October 31, 2015, at his residence in Abilene, Texas. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. Visitation is planned for Saturday morning November 7, from 11:00 a.m. till the time of the service, at the Funeral Home located at 304 N. 2nd, Haskell, Texas.
Justin was born March 10, 1990, in Arlington, Texas to Mike Cox and Cheri Landess. He loved his family and was a great father. He enjoyed taking his sweet Emma to the park and reading with her. He was so excited to find out he and Jackie were expecting again. He also enjoyed fighting MMA and playing video games.
He is preceded in death by his son, Connor; grandmother, Eve Lankford; and grandfather, Jimmy Cox.
Justin is survived by his wife, Jaclynn Long; daughter, Emma; one child on the way; mother, Cheri and husband Tom Landess; father, Mike Cox; brother, T.J. Landess; sister, Amy Landess; grandparents, Eunice and Joe Larned and Butch and Patti Taylor; and numerous other family and friends that loved him.
Memorials can be given in Justin's name to Cook's Childrens Hospital, 4405 River Oaks Blvd, Fort Worth, Texas, (817) 347- 2200.
