Kathleen Oldham Burrows

Kathleen Oldham Burrows, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the age of 95.

Kathleen was born in Throckmorton Co., TX, on February 3, 1929, to the late Annie Mae and Raymon Oldham. A lifelong resident of Fort Worth, TX, Kathleen dedicated her life to her family. She was always there with a warm embrace or a listening ear, and was known far and wide for her beautiful crocheted potholders, which she enjoyed making for family and friends. Always full of love, laughter and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Jan Luciano and son-in-law, Mike Luciano, of Asheville; three grandchildren, whom she adored, Katie Luciano, of Charleston, SC, Michael Luciano, of Asheville, and Lauren Luciano and her husband, Mike Kennedy, of Chicago, IL; and nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of many years, Truman F. Burrows; and by her daughter, Deborah Burrows Stevens.

A memorial graveside service will be held at the Throckmorton cemetery Friday, May 2, 2025 at 10:30am, in Throckmorton, Texas, under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Throckmorton.
