Kim Howard, 58, a lifelong resident of Haskell Co., TX, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018. A funeral service will held at 2:00p.m., Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the First Baptist Church, Weinert with Bro. Dan Bullock officiating. Burial will follow services at Willow Cemetery, Haskell under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned from 6:00-7:00p.m., Friday, January 12, 2018, at the funeral home, 304 N 2nd St., Haskell, TX.
Kim was born October 11, 1959 in Haskell, to Joyce (Grand) and Walter Richard (W.R.) Hager, Jr. She married Bobby Howard, Jr. on June 11, 1977 in Weinert, TX. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Weinert. Kim enjoyed gardening, crafts, and anything involving stock shows, FFA, and 4H. She especially loved her kids, and taking care of others.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Howard, Jr. of Haskell; two daughters, Mindy Howard of Temple, and Kourtney Howard of Stephenville; son, Rusty Howard of Midland; two sisters, Kathy Roberts of Houston, and Sue Stewart and husband Dewayne Phillips of Lake Stamford; brother, Stanley Hager and wife Brenda of Weinert; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce (Grand) Hager; father, Walter Richard Hager Jr.; and two brothers, Walter Richard Hager, III, and Ronald Keith Hager.
