Lawana Mae (Allen) Conner

Lawana Mae Conner was born on November 15, 1935, in Haskell County, Texas, to Albert Hershel Allen and Ona Mae Reid Allen. She married the love of her life, Wendell Ray Conner, on November 25, 1951.

Lawana was a devoted Christian who dearly loved her church and spent many hours studying the word of her Bible. She was grateful for her life, her loved ones, and all the blessings God had given her. Her kindness and strength was shared with everyone.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 46 years, Wendell Ray Conner; daughter, Pamela Ann Conner; and son, Christopher Bruce Conner.

She is survived by her daughter, Angelia Kay Skipper, and her husband Steve; daughter, Sherry Lynn Gilbreth; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at First Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow at Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home.
