Leta B. Sellers of Rule, Texas passed away Thursday morning, February 20, 2014 at Haskell Hospital. Mrs. Sellers was 83. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Rule Cemetery with Rev. John Greeson officiating. Visitation is planned for Friday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home located at 600 Robins in Rule.
Leta B. Curd was born in Haskell County on December 7, 1930 to Laura Beatrice (Garrett) and William Price Curd. She married Jack Sellers in Tye, Texas on February 12, 1954. Mrs. Sellers was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, William Price Curd, Jr., and Ben Charlie Curd.
Leta is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack of Rule; one son, David Sellers and wife Bekah of Abilene; 3 grandchildren, Christopher Sellers and wife Kristen of Lubbock, Maggie Sellers and Jackson Sellers of Abilene; 1 brother, James Curd and wife Mary of Graham; sister-in-law, Jean Curd of Arlington, Texas and many nieces and nephews.
