Lila Stewart

Lila Stewart, 65, a longtime resident of Rochester, Texas, passed away on November 28, 2020. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Willow Cemetery, Haskell with Rev. Terry Bunch officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell.

Lila was born May 22, 1955 in Haskell, Texas to Virginia (Kirkland) and Leroy Stiewart. She married Joe Stewart in Haskell on May 30, 1990. Lila loved music, cooking, dancing, cross stitching, and embroidering.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Stewart of Rochester; mother, Virginia Bowen of Knox City; 2 brothers, David Stiewart of Rochester, Bobby Stiewart of Knox City; aunt, Myrle Andress of Haskell; 2 uncles, B.D. Kirkland of Weatherford, Marvin Stiewart of Haskell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Leroy Stiewart; and step father, David Bowen.
