Lillian Inez Boydstun

Lillian Inez Boydstun, 92, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022. Graveside Services will be held at Throckmorton Cemetery at 10:00AM on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, in Throckmorton TX. Officiating will be, Bro Richard Segars and Bro Seth Pitman.

Inez was born May 15, 1929 in Burkburnett, TX to the late Jim Joseph and Nora Ellen (Helms) Cook. She married Wesley Andrew Boydstun Jr December 12, 1947, in Weatherford, TX, and he preceded her in death January 8, 2005, a union that would last 57 years. After leaving Ft. Worth, and moving to Graham, and having Darlene and Linda, they settled in Throckmorton in 1956. They raised their four daughters and one son. She managed a home and kept books for Wesley's business. She worked at the County Treasurer's office, City Hall and the kitchen at the Hospital.She was a member of First Baptist Church in Throckmorton and Order of the Eastern Star. She went to live at Garden Terrace Healthcare at Graham in July of 2018.

Accomplished in many ways, she will be best remembered as a loving and devoted wife, Mama, Mema and friend. Besides her family, she loved crocheting, ironing, puzzles, Polka, puzzle books, The Golden Girls, and reading her Bible.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dawson, Abigail, Dax Andrew and 14 siblings.

She is survived by her four daughters, Gay Lynn Moses and husband Jimmy of Sweetwater, Darlene Petty and husband Michael, Linda Little, Francis Peacock and husband Richie, and one son Trey Boydstun and wife Alma of Throckmorton; and many grandkids, great grandkids, and great great grandkids.
