Lillie Mae Green, 85, of Knox City, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Savior on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. A private family memorial service will be held at the Rule Cemetery at a later date. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Knox City.

Lillie was born on February 10, 1938, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Delmer Walker and Irene Odessa Smith. On April 5, 1958, she married the love of her life, Elmer (Jerry) Lester Green Jr. in Tahoka, Texas. She was a member of the Sweet Home Baptist Church in Rule. She loved her family and the Lord dearly. Her life was dedicated to the care of others. She was a compassionate caregiver and worked as Director of Anton Senior Citizens Center, Activity Director at Haskell Care Home, and was a private caregiver for a number of years. She enjoyed spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lillie is survived by her son, Randy Green and wife Tammy; daughter, Geree Norris; daughter, Lisa Green; daughter Ellen Hearn and husband Gregg; son, Terry Green and wife Denise; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Delmer Walker and Irene Eikenhorst; husband, Elmer (Jerry) Lester Green Jr; grandsons, Johnathan Robertson and Travis Green; and great-great-grandson, Ashton Scott.
