Linda Navarro

Linda Navarro, 59, of Throckmorton, Texas passed away, Monday, May 17, 2021. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, May 20, 2021, at the First United Methodist Church, Throckmorton. Burial will follow service at Throckmorton Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A rosary is planned from 6:00-7:00PM, Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the funeral home, 107 N Austin, Throckmorton.

Linda was born May 18, 1961 to parents Lupe and Josephine Navarro. After graduating from Throckmorton High School in 1980, she went on to move to Abilene, TX where she worked at Texas Instruments for over 10 years. She then moved on to Fort Worth where she worked over 12 years for NOKIA. Linda was living with her mother, Josephine where she enjoyed taking care of her cats and was always working outdoors. She was a very gifted artist and could make so many things with her hands. She could make and cook anything and helped anyone that need her help. She had a huge heart for people and anyone from Throckmorton can tell you what a sweet and kind person she was. Linda knew the Lord and from a young age, was always happy and confident in who she was as a Christian.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Freddie Navarro; and father, Lupe Navarro,
