Linda Bufkin Parker

Linda (Bufkin) Parker, 68, a long-time resident of Benjamin, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at in Dallas. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016, at the Methodist Church in Benjamin. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Benjamin Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes at Knox City.

Linda was born August 5, 1948 in Knox City, to Lillie (Hall) and James Bufkin. She married Jerry Parker on August 7, 1966 in Benjamin. She enjoyed gardening, and making crafts.

Linda is survived by her husband, Jerry Parker; two daughters, Sheri Escobedo and husband Nati of Haskell and Shannon Crinion and husband Danny of McKinney; five grandchildren, Sean Wilson and wife Cricket, Kyle Wilson, and wife Gabby, Tanner Monroe, Aidan Crinion and Liam Crinion; three great-grandchildren, Alexis Wilson, Taven Wilson and True Wilson; two brothers, Sonny Bufkin, and T.J. Bufkin; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Bufkin and Lillie (Hall).
