Linda Rodriguez

Linda Rodriguez, 78, a longtime resident of Haskell, TX, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020. A graveside service will be held at 10:00a.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the Willow Cemetery, Haskell with Deacon Julian Estrada officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A Rosary is planned for 7:00p.m., Monday, December 28, 2020, at the funeral home, 304 N. 2nd St., Haskell, TX.

Linda was born February 22, 1942 in Engleman Gardens, TX to Julia (Olivarez) and Jose Martinez. She married Mac Rodriguez, Jr., April 30, 1957 in Stamford, TX and they enjoyed 61 years of marriage. Linda was active in her church, St. George Catholic Church, and with the Guadalupana's. She enjoyed caring for her chickens and especially loved spending time with her family. You never left Linda's house without her telling you "Que Dios Los Bendiga". She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Trevino of Haskell; 6 sons, Richard Rodriquez of Stamford, Carlos Rodriguez and wife Delores of Anson; Robert Rodriguez and wife Sara, Felix Rodriquez and wife Terry, Andy Rodriguez, and Joseph Rodriquez all of Haskell; 2 brothers, Lupe Martinez, and Manuel Martinez both of Denton; sister, Delia Villa of Haskell; 38 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents Julia and Jose Martinez; husband, Mac Rodriguez, Jr.; and son, Joe Anthony Rodriguez.
