Linda "Tita" Ruiz

Rosa Linda Ruiz 'Tita', was born August 10, 1960 in Hondo, Texas. She was born to Irma Munoz and Jose Contreras. She entered Heaven's gates November 4, 2020. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Knox City Cemetery with Mr. Jose Munoz officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned from 6:00-7:00 PM, Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the funeral home, 210 Ave A, Knox City, TX.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother and having her family around her as often as possible. She was a great cook, gift giver and always made you feel special if you were a guest in her home. One of her favorite phrases was 'si dios Quiere' meaning God willing.

She is survived by her adoring husband of 34 years Lorenzo Ruiz. Her mother Irma of Knox City. As well as her loving children Micheal Frausto of Knox City, Jimmy Trevino of Knox City, Gilbert Trevino and wife Tiffany of Knox City, Tommy Trevino and wife Leilani of Wichita Falls, Daisy Montanez and wife Mollie of Knox City.

She is also survived by her grandchildren who will miss her very dearly. Avery, Victor, and Tres Frausto of Knox City, Valeria, Elijah and Jace Trevino of Knox City, Gilbert Jr, Nicholas, Izaiah Trevino of Knox City, Tommy Jr of San Antonio, Malaya of Wichita Falls, and Ayden Montanez of Knox City.

Sisters: Josie Garcia, Diana Lerma and Sonya Ruiz all of Knox City

Brothers: Adrian Serrano, Salvador Serrano, Tim Serrano all of DFW.

Tita will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She had a way to make your heart happy even when you were down. She loved to laugh and live life to the fullest in the simplest of ways.
