Lionor Moya

Lionor (Huizar) Moya of Crowell, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at the age of 86. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Santa Rosa Catholic Church in Knox City with Father John Perikomalayil officiating. Burial will take place immediately following the mass at Truscott Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. Rosary is planned for Friday, evening June 5 at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home located 210 Ave. A, Knox City.

Lionor was born in Pleasanton, Texas on April 11,1929 to Bruno and Mauricia (Casarez) Huizar.
She lived in Truscott, Texas most of her life. She married Baldamor Moya on May 29, 1949 in Pleasanton, Texas. She enjoyed sewing, dancing and music.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bruno and Mauricia (Casarez) Huizar; her husband, Baldamor Moya, Sr. and one grandson, Tony Vasquez, Jr.

Lionor is survived by her two daughters, Amalia Bernal and husband George of O'Brien, Texas; and Amanda Vasquez and husband Tony of Abilene, Texas; two sons, Baldamor Moya,Jr of Truscott, Texas, and San Juan Moya and wife Ruby Lee of Crowell, Texas; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
