Lottie Loraine Parks, longtime resident of Dallas, Texas passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at Munday Nursing Center in Munday, Texas. Loraine was 90. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Benjamin United Methodist Church in Benjamin, Texas. Burial will take place Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.,at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.
Loraine was born April 10, 1924, in Kaufman County to Minnie Bernice (Selby) and Thomas Jefferson Stoy. Loraine married Jesse Lee Parks on December 31,1966 at Owenwood Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas. Loraine was employed at Grand Avenue Bank as a bookkeeper for 20 years. Later in life she moved to Knox County. Most people knew her as "Bea". She enjoyed people and baking cakes.
Loraine was a member at Benjamin United Methodist Church in Benjamin, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Minnie Stoy; husband, Jesse Lee Parks; sister, Lucy Mings; brother, Art Stoy.
Loraine is survived by 2 sisters Jessie Roberts of Munday, Texas, and Pauline Floyd of Woodlands, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
