Lucille Becker, life-long resident of Haskell, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at the age of 100. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 21, 2015 at Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. Visitation is planned for Thursday evening, August 20, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home located at 304 N 2nd, Haskell, Texas.

Lucille was born May 14, 1915, in Milam County, Texas, to Oliver Clyde and Autie B. (Rice) Gilbert. Lucille married A.H.(Johnny) Becker on October 3, 1936, in Milam County; they moved to Haskell County in 1941 and settled into their permanent home. She was a wonderful seamstress, cook, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. Lucille can be described as the ideal "farmer's wife." She loved to go riding around to look at their crops. Lucille was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Clyde Gilbert and Autie B. (Rice); husband, A.H.(Johnny) Becker; one brother, Lloyd Gilbert; and one great-grandson, Kolby Martin.

Lucille Becker is survived by her daughters; Nancy Davis and husband Jerry of Iowa Park, Texas, Jean Dunnam of Haskell, Texas, and Kay Ziebart of Weinert, Texas; grandkids, Jamey Davis, Randy Davis and wife Donna and Suzanne Berend and husband Donnie all of Iowa Park, Texas, Ricky Dunnam and wife Erin and Mickey Dunnam and wife Marni both of Haskell, Texas, Kevin Mathis of Castroville, Texas and Mandy Porter and husband Jim of Lubbock, Texas; 9 great-grandkids; 2 great-great-grandkids; brother, Floyd J. Gilbert; sister, Betty Bartlett and husband Clifford of Rockdale, Texas; and one niece and one nephew.

Serving as Pallbearers are: Randy Davis, Jamey Davis, Ricky Dunnam, Mickey Dunnam, Kevin Mathis and Donnie Berend.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are: Renee Glass, Belinda Guadalcazar, Eva Jimenez, Minnie Camacho and Mary Menchaca.
