Lynn Davis

Lynn Davis, 66, a longtime resident of Throckmorton, TX, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019. A memorial service will be held at a later date under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Throckmorton.

Lynn was born April 24, 1953 in Corpus Christi, TX, to Dorothy (Culpepper) and James William Davis. Lynn loved playing music and he put on Saturday In The Park music days. he loved to laugh, joke, and make sure everybody was happy.

He is survived by his son, Joe Davis of Throckmorton; daughter, Crystal Davis of Throckmorton; five grandchildren, Abbie Miller, Grace Frazier, Taylor Fraizer, Collyn Joe Davis, Steven Wayne Davis, and Kimberyn Davis; brother, Tommy Davis of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Lois Salmonson of Albuquerque, NM, and Dorothy Wessling of Virginia Beach, VA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Davis; father, James William Davis; and brother, Jimmy Davis.
