Manuela G. DeLosRios, life-long resident of Knox City, Texas passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at the Munday Nursing Home at the age of 87. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 12, 2015, at the Knox City Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A Rosary service is planned for Friday evening, September 11, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Knox City located at 210 Avenue A.
Manuela was born June 22, 1928, in Benjamin, Texas to Nefro and Maria (Peña) Gonzales. She lived in Knox City all of her life and she loved to cook.
She was a member of the Santa Rosa Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Rios; sons Raul Rios, Jr. and Johnny Munoz; great-grandson, Jonathon Petty; sister, Toni Saucedo; brother, Amador Gonzalez and daughter-in-law, Teresa DeLosRios.
Manuela is survived by her son, Alfred Rios; grandchildren, Tracy Espinosa and husband Robert; Al Rios, Gina Petty and husband Stephen, Johnny Munoz and wife Stephanie; daughter-in-law, Frances Munoz; great-grandchildren, Coletun Espinosa and wife Allison, Larissa Espinosa, Tyler Rios, Jayden Rios, Dylan Rios, Kendall Munoz, Destiny Petty, Isabella Petty, and Paige Petty; brother, Lupe Gonzalez; Faye Baltazar; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
