Margaret Luceal (Jones) Santerre

Margaret Luceal Jones Santerre, 84, a former longtime resident of Haskell, TX, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 11:00a.m., Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Willow Cemetery, Haskell. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell.

Margaret was born September 19, 1933 in Haskell, to Magnolia (Patton) and O. H. Jones. Margaret was a former member of the Foursquare Church and the Church of God both in Haskell. She loved embroidery and quilting; she even won awards for her quilts. She enjoyed Bible Study and was at the church every time the doors opened.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda F. Buckner and husband Max of Bentonville, AR; granddaughter, Lorrin B. Howard of Chattanooga, TN; and three grandsons, Zachery R. Buckner, Preston M. Buckner, both of Bentonville, AR and Kyle Buckner of Knoxville, TN.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Magnolia (Patton) Jones; father, O. H. Jones; and brother, C. H. Jones.
