Margie Geneva Robertson

Margie Geneva Robertson, longtime resident of Haskell, Texas passed away Monday morning, November 3, 2014, at her home. Mrs. Robertson was 83. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 10, 2014, at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Haskell, with Rev. Morris Johnson officiating. Interment immediately following the services at Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Margie Geneva Drinnon was born August 5, 1931, in Haskell County at Josselet Switch to Veda V. (Turnbow) and Robert M. Drinnon. She married Lovoid Robertson at Curry Chapel Baptist Church in 1950 and was a homemaker living in Idaho and Utah until moving back to Haskell in 1993.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Veda and Robert Drinnon; her husband, L.O. Robertson; 1 sister; and 3 brothers.

Geneva is survived by her two sons, Wyman Kyle Robertson and Ronnie Lagene Robertson; 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Julia Harrell and husband Mike of Haskell.
