Maria V. Aguilera

Maria V. Aguilera, 81, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the Faith Chapel in Rochester, Texas with Rev. Randy Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will follow services at the Rochester Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned from 6:00-7:00PM, Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Smith Family Funeral Homes in Haskell, Texas.

Maria was born September 8,1941 in Junction, Texas to Erimmia (Rivas) and Augustine Rodriquez. She loved going to church, spending time with her grandkids, sewing, and crocheting. She took pride in working as a CNA.

She is survived by two daughters, Mickie Aguilera of Rochester, Delia McPhail and spouse David of Abilene;Ben Bagley son-in-law of Dallas, and son Delfino Eric Aguilera of Abilene; eight grandchildren, Steven, Cassie, Stephanie, Kristi, Casey, Cassidy, Gus, and Kamrin; eighteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Lydia Rodriquez and Eva Robles both of Dallas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Erimmia and Augustine Rodriquez; daughter, Sandy Bagley; husband, Delfino Aguilera and three brothers.
