Maria Rodriguez

Maria DeJesus Rodriguez, 46, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016, at United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at Calvary Baptist Church in Haskell, TX with Rev. J.R. Flores officiating. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Knox City Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned for Monday, August 22, 2016, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Maria was born on June 30, 1970, in Parra, Mexico, to Jose Guadalupe Pachicano and Bernarda (Coronado) Pachicano. On August 28, 1990, she married Jesus Rodriguez in Saltillo, Mexico, they have lived in Knox City since 2003. She loved to cook and take care of her family and loved church.

Maria is survived by her husband, Jesus Rodriguez; one daughter, Isela Rodriguez; four sons, Hosiel Rodriguez, Jesus Rodriguez, Israel Rodriguez and Angel Rodriguez; mother, Bernarda Pachicano; one granddaughter, Maya Rodriguez; three brothers, Jose Pachicano, Juan Pachicano and Telesforo Pachicano; sister, Norma Rodriguez; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jose Guadalupe Pachincano; and niece, Mary Isabel.
