Maria Rosario "Rosie" Navarro

Maria Rosario "Rosie" Navarro, lifelong resident of Throckmorton, Texas, passed away Wednesday morning, October 8, 2014, at her home in Throckmorton, Texas. Rosie was 42. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014, at the Christian Center in Throckmorton, Texas with Rev. Darrell Marion officiating. Burial will take place immediately following the services at Throckmorton Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care of Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Rosie was born in Throckmorton, Texas on June 2, 1972, to Mary (Perez) and Antonio M. Navarro, Sr. She attended Throckmorton schools and Rosie enjoyed reading and visiting the library.

She is survived by her parents, Mary and Antonio Navarro, Sr., of Throckmorton; husband, Tracy Elliston of Throckmorton; 2 brothers, Antonio Navarro, Jr., of Throckmorton, and Willie Navarro of Ft. Worth; her niece, Brianna Navarro; and nephew, Brandon Lee Stewart. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Serving as pallbearers for Rosie are Marty Navarro, Frankie Navarro, Ricky Escalon, Eric Perez, Jody Moore, and Bill Riley.
