Maria R. Sanchez

Maria Sanchez beloved wife, mother, and sister passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the age of 62. A rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the Smith Family Funeral Homes, Knox City, Texas.

Maria was born June 11, 1961 in Durango, Mexico to Jose Ibarra and Elvira Mijarez. She was the loving wife of Florencio Sanchez and loving mother of Cielo, Crystal, and Magali Sanchez. She was very loved by her sister Lourdes Ibarra, and Gregoria Moreno and Family.

She was the most loving person always with a beautiful smile on her face and welcoming everyone into her home. She was famous for her delicious tamales. She loved spending time with her family. She was always willing to help anyone. She will never be forgotten. She was a fighter know matter how hard life got, she kept going. Their are not enough words to describe such a wonderful women.

We would like to thank the people who know matter how tuff things got, they never left her side, brother-in-law, Roberto Trevino and family; sister-in-law Rosalinda Sanchez; and very close friends, familia Uribe, familia Romero, familia Valencia, familia Reyes, familia Rodriquez, and familia Gutierrez.
