Marion E. Frierson, 100, a long time resident of Haskell, TX, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 in Grapevine, TX. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 23, 2018 at Willow Cemetery, Haskell with Bro. Ollie Pierson officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell.
Marion was born November 14, 1917 in Abbott, to Estella (Crocker) and Charles H. Toal. She married Altamont Dwynell "Mont" Frierson on February 27, 1944 in Haskell. She worked as a registered nurse until their son, Monte, was born. Marion enjoyed playing golf, cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, watching sports, and doing crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Haskell.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Lori Jasinski and husband James of Oceanside, CA; grandson, Wes Frierson and wife Rebecca of Grapevine; two great-granddaughters, Emaline and Piper Frierson of Grapevine; daughter-in-law, Susan Spicer of Tomball; and an abundance of friends and family that loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Estella (Crocker) Toal; father, Charles H. Toal; husband, Altamont Dwnell "Mont" Frierson; son, Monte Wayne Frierson; two sisters, Lois, and Dorothy; and one brother, Robert.
