Visitation is planned for Tuesday evening, June 3, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home located at 304 N. 2nd Street.

One of five, and the only boy, Mark was born April 20, 1961, in Haskell to Sandra (Larned) and J.W. Wallace. He grew up loving to ride and train horses. Mark married Tammie Polk in Sweetwater, Texas on November 6, 1982.

He continued on with his love of horses and always rode and trained and was passing the joy of horses down to his grandchildren. Mark was self-employed with Wally's Auto Touch Up and a founding member of God Loves You Ministries. He attended Cross Country Walk to Emmaus #174 and he upheld his piety by working several walks later.

Mark's passion was helping people and spreading God's word. In 2004, he founded God Loves You Ministries and his weekly sermon's touched the lives of many. His understanding and ability to share God's love was certainly a gift that Mark promoted faithfully. The perpetual smile on Mark's face is testimony to the conviction and devotion he had for his Lord Savior. He was always available for a generous hug and words of encouragement. He was a wonderful, loving man that will be missed by the entire community.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sandra; sister, Janet Thane; nephew, Austin Coker; and granddaughter, Krislyn.

Mark leaves behind his beautiful and loving family to continue on with his legacy.
