Mary S. Dixon formally of Haskell, Texas passed away December 24, 2013 at Ennis Care Center in Ennis, Texas. Mrs. Dixon was 77. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Willow Cemetery in Haskell with Rev. Dustin Wilhite officiating. Arrangements were made under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home.
Mary S. Byrd was born July 16, 1936 in Denton, Texas. She married Hollis Dale Dixon on July 27, 1955 in Haskell. Mrs. Dixon was a member of Watermark Church in Dallas.
Mrs. Dixon is survived by her husband, Hollis Dale Dixon; daughter, Darla Sue Dixon; 3 sons, Mike Dixon and wife Jennifer, James Dwight Dixon, Henry Dixon and wife Karen; 2 brothers, James Ashley Byrd, Jr., Henry Stephenson Byrd; 7 grandchildren, Zachary Brown, Jake Brown, Blair Dixon, Dean Dixon, William Dixon, Claire Dixon and Elizabeth Dixon.
