Mary E. "Granny" Frazier, 82, a long time resident of Rule, passed away Friday, November 18, 2016, in Abilene. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2016, at the Rule Cemetery in Rule under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A Visitation is scheduled for Monday, November 21, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the Funeral Home, 600 Robins Avenue, Rule, TX, 79547.
Mary was born May 7, 1934 in Gorman to Margret Lucy (Gardner) and Oma Key Schooler. She married Wilbur Vance "Dick" Frazier in Albany, April 6, 1973. She was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church and loved her dogs: Little Bill, Chico, Sweet Pea, and Maci.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Bridges and husband Mike; her son, Dickey Frazier and wife Pam; grandson, John Key Hobbs and wife Barbara; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and sister Marie Courville.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband; daughter, Mary Margaret Martin; and two granddaughters, Rachel Jackson and Patricia Ann Tippins.
