Mary Lynn Meredith

Mary Lynn Meredith, 53, a longtime resident of Breckenridge, TX, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020. A funeral service will be held at 2:00p.m., Friday, March 6, 2020 at the First Baptist Church, Throckmorton with Rev. Mike McKinney officiating. A visitation is planned from 6:00-7:00p.m., Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the funeral home, 107 N. Austin, Throckmorton, TX.

Mary was born May 4, 1966 in Tuscon, Arizona, to Laverne and Bill Mathis. Mary loves taking care of her dogs and spending time with friends and her grandkids. She was always happy and loved the little things like phone calls from friends. She was famous for her blue mascara.

She is survived by her daughter, Hannah Foster and husband Josh of Childress; step-son, Tristan Posey of Midland; two granddaughters, Rileigh Foster and Henleigh Foster both of Childress; grandson, Slade Cooper Foster of Childress; sister, Glenn Smith and husband Bo of Hobbs, NM.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Laverne Mathis; father, Bill Mathis; husband, David Posey; and son, Doyle William Whitfield.

Memorials may be made in Mary's name to the National Kidney Foundation or the First Baptist Church of Throckmorton.
