Maximino "Mac" Rodriguez, Jr.

Maximino "Mac" Rodriguez, Jr., 79, a longtime resident of Haskell, TX, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00a.m., Monday, February 11, 2019 at the St. George Catholic Church, Haskell with Deacon Julian Estrada officiating. Burial will follow services at Willow Cemetery, Haskell under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell. A Rosary is planned for 6:00p.m., Sunday, February 10, 2019, at the St. George Catholic Church, 901 N. 16th St., Haskell, TX.

Mac was born June 21, 1939 in Wichita Falls, TX, to Felicita (Enriquez) and Maximino Rodriguez, Sr. He married Linda (Martinez) in 1957 in Stamford, TX. Mac enjoyed fishing and playing baseball. He especially loved cooking, working on cars, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Rodriguez of Haskell; daughter, Vickie Trevino of Haskell; 6 sons, Richard Rodriquez and wife Linda of Stamford, Robert Rodriguez and wife Sara of Pflugerville, Carlos Rodriguez and wife Delores of Anson, Felix Rodriguez and wife Terry, Andrew Rodriguez, and Joseph Rodriquez all of Haskell; 22 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 6 brothers; 3 sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Felicita (Enriquez) Rodriguez; father, Maximino Rodriguez, Sr.; son, Joe Anthony Rodriguez; and 3 brothers.
