Mildred Irene Robertson, 99, passed away December 4, 2015 at Stamford Residence and Rehabilitation Center in Stamford, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, December 6, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Haskell with Rev. Jim McCurley officiating. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. The family will receive visitors at 1915 Wheatley Road, Haskell, Texas.
Mildred was born July 12, 1916, in Magnum, Oklahoma to John K. Cook and Ada Francis (Hopkins) Cook. She lived in Haskell most of her life and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was a member and officer of Home Demonstration and she enjoyed playing cards and quilting.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John K. Cook and Ada Francis (Hopkins) Cook; husband, Laton Walter Robertson; grandson; Laton Curry; three brothers and two sisters.
Mildred is survived by her four daughters, Jeanette Curry of Plainview, Texas, Patsy Blakley and her husband Bill of Haskell, Texas, Sharon Isbell and her husband Jim of Keller, Texas and Deanna Robertson of Dallas, Texas; three grandsons and spouses; two granddaughters and spouses; twelve great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family.
