Monica Nicole Guerrero, 29, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 in Rule, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at The Heart of God Church located at 114 E. Campbell in Stamford, Texas with pastor Joanne S. Ochoa officiating. Interment will take place immediately following the services at Willow Cemetery in Haskell under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.
Monica Solano was born May 28, 1984 in Lubbock,Texas to Connie and Richard Alaniz Solano. She is a graduate of Levelland High School and married Roberto Guerrero III in Levelland. Monica was a member of Women Winning Women Ministries and Heart of God Church Outreach Ministries Group.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lucio and Belia Solano; and Uncles Oscar Solano and Frank Gomez.
Monica is survived by her husband, Roberto Guerrero; son, Reign Guerrero; parents, Richard and Connie Solano; sister Rachel Contreras and husband Roger all from Haskell; 5 nieces, Katriana, Arrian, Tana Ray, Ozzy and Razoria Contreras; grandmother, Herminia Landeroz also from Haskell.
