Myra Dell Reeves

Myra Dell Reeves, 93, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015, after a short illness. Graveside
services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at O'Brien Cemetery in O'Brien, Texas with the Rev. Chas Shira officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home.
Mrs. Reeves was born October 8, 1921 in O'Brien and graduated in 1938 from Carney High School in O'Brien. She was a homemaker and a life-long member of O'Brien Baptist Church. She married Jr. Reeves on October 6, 1945 in O'Brien. During the 1950s and 1960s she was an employee of Northern Star Seed Farm in O'Brien.
Preceding her in death were her husband of nearly 60 years, Samuel Jackson Reeves, Jr.; son, Billy Jack Reeves; parents, David Andrew and Lillian Estella Vannoy; and siblings Byron Frank Vannoy, Bonnie Jo Lippard, and Billy Rayburn Vannoy.
She is survived by sisters-in-law Billie Jean McAuley of Knox City, Texas and LaVerne Burnett of Chillicothe, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Samuel Jackson and Myra Dell Reeves Mission Fund, 15421 CR 3500, Ada, OK 74820.
