Nancy M. Woods

Nancy M. Woods, 99, a longtime resident of Haskell, TX, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019. A graveside service will be held at 2:00p.m., Friday, November 29, 2019 at Willow Cemetery with Rev. Fred Selby officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell. A visitation is planned for 1:00p.m. until service time, Friday, November 29, 2019 at the funeral home, 304 N. 2nd Street, Haskell, TX.

Nancy was born February 11, 1920 in Mississippi, to Delia (Boren) and Lester Arnold. She taught 2 and 3 year olds Sunday School for as long as she could, and enjoyed reading.

She is survived by her two daughters, Pat Marr and husband Kenneth of Stamford, and Charlene Morton of Tye; three granddaughters, Mindy Jennings and husband Thad of Waco, Jennifer Fisher of Abilene, and Angela Morton of Abilene; two grandsons, Dustin Marr and wife Tina of McKinney; and Christopher Morton of Tye; four great-granddaughters, Alleigh Jennings of Waco, Madison Marr of McKinney, Taylor Marr of McKinney, and Emma Jennings of Waco; two great-grandsons, Will Jennings of Savory, WY, and Seth Jennings of Waco; brother, Lester Arnold of Seymour; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Delia (Boren) Arnold; father, Lester Arnold; husband, Charlie J. Woods; and sister, Willie Helen Walsh.
